Life on the Southshore of Tampa Bay has certainly changed over the years. From farmland filled with Tomato Fields to strip malls filled with stores and restaurants, the last 20 years has led to thousands of new homes and residents to our beautiful area. While many are thankful when they hear about the latest chain opening up, businesses that have provided service to the Southshore area are struggling as big corporations, and even other small businesses are following the sprawl into our area. They see the new potential of this expansion, and they are looking to capitalize on it, cutting into profits of our Local Small Businesses. Supporting local small businesses is vital to the local economy of our community. Research shows that 80% of all profits made to a small business, stay in the local community. Certainly we should enjoy and support some of the chains that have come into our area, but we hope that you will take a minute to check our directory to see if there is a local company that you would rather support, when there is the opportunity to do so. Your money will go much further to support local families and organizations here, when you choose a local small business!
